Our website grants you non-exclusive limited license to use the web templates and other products sold through our website (http://www.silverstripeclub.com) by Covenant Solutions Limited (registered in England, company number 4516058) trading as SilverStripe Club (the “products”) in accordance with these Terms & Conditions (the “license”) issued by our company. SilverStripe Club and Covenant Solutions Limited are not affiliated with the SilverStripe Company.
All our SilverStripe themes, modules and widgets are licensed under the open source (revised) BSD license. Our themes, modules and widgets may be used by our customers on as many websites as they like.
The Photoshop design files for our themes come packaged separately and are not BSD licensed. They are licensed and copyrighted under silverstripeclub.com. You are not allowed to redistribute these files in any way.
For some of our themes we use images from image libraries. In these instances your theme will be packaged with place holder images supplied by the image library and a list of the image numbers so that you can purchase the images from the library or replace the images with your own or other images that you have the copyright or been licensed to use. Membership to the SilverStripe Club or purchase of individual themes, widgets or modules does not grant you license to use, redistribute or remove the copyright notice from the images.
Please take note that all subscriptions will be automatically renewed at the end of your subscription period. If you wish to cancel your subscription (i.e. you would not like to extend it with a similar extension to your existing one), then you need to notify us via e-mail (cancellations@silverstripeclub.com) at least 7 days prior to the end of your subscription, requesting such a cancellation.
No exceptions will be made in this regard and if your subscription is automatically renewed, we will assume that you have done so with your express permission. No refunds whatsoever will be given in this regard.
Theme, modules or widgets updates are available to customers who have made an individual theme, module or widget purchase. They are also available for all the themes, modules or widgets accessible by our club members whilst their club subscription is still active.
All templates are always designed to be compatible with the version(s) of SilverStripe indicated on the product details web page, but we can give no guarantee, that they will work with versions of SilverStripe not listed in the product details. We are however committed to doing our best to make all the themes, modules and widgets compatible with future releases of SilverStripe.
It is our duty to always keep the themes, modules and widgets up-to-date and working with the latest version of SilverStripe. Our themes, modules and widgets are developed and fine-tuned for SilverStripe 2.4.5 or higher, any version prior to that may have problems with some theme functionality.
Our themes, modules and widgets support all modern web browsers including (but not limited to) Firefox, Safari, Chrome (all on PC & Mac) & Internet Explorer 7, 8 & 9. Whilst we strive to give every a seamless & near-identical experience across each of these browsers, it is impossible to compensate for the lack of web standards support (relating to HTML & CSS) in some of these browsers. In the case of a browser not support certain web standards, we will include a generic workaround for that browser, which will degrade a specific function / feature gradually and in a way that doesn't affect the user experience negatively.
After we have successfully received your payment, your SilverStripe Club Subscription or Individual Theme, Module or Widget information will be emailed to the email address you provided. This may take up to 1 hour but usually happens within minutes. If you do not receive an email after this time period, contact us through our website. Upon logging in with the provided credentials, you will have instant access to all our themes and the support forum.
You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified. All products are property of SilverStripe Club. Our products are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no event shall our juridical person be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use our products.
All content, including imagery, published on the silverstripeclub.com domain, including site content published on the showcase, is property of SilverStripe Club and under copyright. Any replicated site content must be authorized and clearly referenced back to the source. Content from the SilverStripe Club web site shall not be used or exploited for any commercial and non-private purposes without the prior written consent of SilverStripe Club.
Since SilverStripe Club is offering non-tangible irrevocable, digital goods we do not issue refunds after the subscription or individual theme, module or widget purchase is made, which you are responsible for understanding upon registering at our site.
SilverStripe Club offers these templates, modules, widgets and designs ‘as is’, with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you wish or with all 3rd party components and plugins. Further, we offer no support via email or otherwise for installation, customization, administration of SilverStripe itself. View our full support policy here.
SilverStripe Club reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, a subscription (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Prices of all subscriptions and products, including but not limited to annual subscription plan fees, are subject to change upon 30 days notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the SilverStripe Club website.
SilverStripe Club does not warranty or guarantee these templates, modules, themes or widgets in any manner. We cannot guarantee they will function with all 3rd party components, plugins or web browsers. Browser compatibility should be tested against the demonstration templates on the demo server. Please ensure that the browsers you use will work with the templates as we can not guarantee that SilverStripe Club templates, modules or widgets will work with all browser combinations.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed according to English law and by purchasing SilverStripe Club membership or individual modules, themes or widgets you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
